so yeah... just got back from seeing Wreck-it Ralph and I honestly enjoyed every minute of it!! don't worry I will not spoil anything!
The video game cameos weren't over done, the characters were so memorable, and the comedy was well placed (especially the most tragic back-story ever). Even the quick short animation at the start, call "Paper Man" was very good and oozed that Disney charm! This definitely going on my list of movies i will buy when it available on dvd, which is pretty short list to since i rarely pick up movies these days.
on the note of Children's movies, terrible habit i have from working at a Target store is that I'll peek at the children books that are based on animated movies, and I spoil the generally spoil the whole plot for myself. yeah i miss out on the "good stuff" but i sadly just find it easier sometimes. Now that not the reason I see usually at most two movies in theaters per year it is the good movie to bad movie ratio in combo with the 3-D trend making price go up when it isn't need, the experience is very... unpleasant.
Not to say it isn't worth it sometimes or bad movies aren't enjoyable, but i can't find the time.
well time to go back to my cave of solitude and work the nerve to get back on track track with this whole art thing i should be doing
